At this time of the year, a lot of parishes are holding their Christmas Fair and St Teresa, Princes Risborough, was no exception. Marie Pennell (CAFOD volunteer) writes :
“On Saturday 26 November, we held a wonderful Christmas Fair at St Teresa with half the proceeds going to the parish funds and the other half to CAFOD. There was a great turn out to support the event and to have fun together.
We had lots of stalls selling seasonal gifts, served tasty lunches and delicious mulled wine brewed by Toby. Even Santa made an appearance! He gave presents to all the children who were delighted!
Sarah and Cartiona entertained the children with face painting and decorating biscuits. We all had a such a great time and the fact that we were also supporting our brothers and sisters who were in so much need was really wonderful.”
The parish raised just over £3000, of which half will be donated to CAFOD. Fabulous! Thanks to all who organised the event and those who supported it.
