CAFOD group grows at St Anthony Slough

It was only in June 2015 when St Anthony’s had no CAFOD contact.  Several months later there were three people and in Dec 2015, several more joined the group.

Stephen Colliss, one of the members said, “I feel now is the right time for me to volunteer.  I really wanted to do something to help in the parish and I have a bit more time so being part of this group is ideal.”

Fr Nicholas (parish priest) is so supportive and open to new ideas and this really helps the group.   There is already a date set to meet in January to discuss Lent Fast Day and to meet up with altar servers and other young people.

When passion, talent and generosity come together great things happen.  Watch this space!  Well done to all!
