Parishioners from St Teresa’s (Princes Risborough) held a soup lunch on Harvest Fast Day to be in solidarity with our brothers and sisters who are living in poverty. They also managed to raise £70!
They also heard about CAFOD’s work in Niger (the focus country for this Harvest Fast Day). Anne Harding said, “It is good to be reminded of what some people have to face. Really brings it home to us”. Fr Joseph added, “It is good to have heard about CAFOD’s work and what has been achieved. We are keen to have more such events”
Thanks everyone who attended and supported the soup lunch. It was great!
