Parishioners from The Most Holy Name of Jesus (Oundle) have been holding regular coffee mornings on Thursdays to raise funds for CAFOD. During Lent, they held one every week to make full use of the government’s match funding. The coffee morning has been run by Andrea (in the white top) for years. Elizabeth (in the yellow dress) who is the parish volunteer said, “we have a very generous parish and a committed parish priest”.
This year alone they have raised over £500 from the coffee mornings! That’s really Fantastic! Well done everyone.
The parish is now looking into how to attain Fairtrade status and to get students from Oundle school who attend mass to be more involved in Fast Days.
