Good Shepherd Pri School Northampton “Cuts it Out” to help Climate Change

“At the Good Shepherd Catholic Primary School in Northampton we thought about what we could ‘cut out’ to help climate change” said Maria Hawkes, year 2 teacher.  The children wrote on hearts what they were going to do and these were displayed in the school.

There were brilliant ideas for fundraising too such as a cake sale, second hand book sale and Easter egg raffle to raise money for CAFOD.  Each class also had a pot they had chosen and decorated with the ‘cut it out’ sheets.  “We are seeing which class wins the prize for the most money raised” adds Maria Hawkes.  “We hope to raise lots of money and are really excited that this will be matched funded.”

Well done Good Shepherd Primary for such fantastic effort!
