Christmas bazaar raises £900 for CAFOD

Parishioners from St John Ogilvie in Corby have raised a fantastic £900 for CAFOD at a Christmas bazaar. It brings the total raised by the parish for the year to £2,000.

Young parishioners and their parents ran a group of stalls at the bazaar, including “guess the name of the teddy bear”, “guess how many sweets in the jar” and “guess how many pennies are in the jar”. They also ran a cake stall.

One girl, Trisha, spent two days making cakes for the bazaar and her family put in an incredible effort for the event, which organiser Mariad (pictured below) was extremely grateful for.

A huge thank you and congratulations to all those who were involved.
