Memorial mass remembers CAFOD supporters

A special Mass of Remembrance remembered supporters who have helped build and shape CAFOD over the years but who sadly are no longer with us.

The mass was held last Saturday (22 November) at St Edward’s Church, Kettering. Our Book of Remembrance was included as part of the offertory procession and prayers were offered for all deceased CAFOD supporters.

Canon John Koenig said: “We also remember today the many loyal and generous friends of CAFOD who have played a vital but often understated part in CAFOD’s work over the years. Through their prayers, donations, volunteering and campaigning they have touched people’s lives across the world.”

After the mass there was also a fish and chip supper and quiz night in the parish hall, offering parishioners the chance to meet other CAFOD supporters, and to donate funds.
