Pitsford provides water

Year 11 students

With the local reservoir already struggling in the drought that has hit the South East of England, year 11 students at Pitsford School have been raising funds in support of CAFOD’s Thirst for Change Appeal.

We want your money!

Through cake sales and other activities they have persuaded staff and other students to part with their cash and raised over £1,600.

Speaking at the end of school Lent Service, Frank Sudlow, CAFOD’s Diocesan Manager, thanked the students for their generosity and invited them to take their concern a step further joining the Thirst for Change Campaign and using their considerable power to influence the hearts and minds of those they met. With over 2 Billion people in the world still without safe sanitation and over 700 million with no secure access to clean water there is still much to be done.

Look what we got - raising money for CAFOD can be great fun!
