Great Generation Tour

Once again CAFOD were delighted to be invited to the Lumos event this summer held at the Frontier Centre, Irthlingbourough.

Bigger than ever, this summer over 100 hundred young people from around the diocese meet up for a weekend of  prayer, sharing, music and fun!

As part of the Great Generation Tour, we discovered how young people can be leaders in their communities by imitating Christ in their own lives when we were joined by the CAFOD youth team and two of our young Kenyan partners. A live web chat with young people in one of the largest slum areas of Kenya really brought home the difficulties there.

Great GenLater we were joined by Bishop Peter seen here signing up to CAFOD’s climate change pledge which was sent to Gordon Brown. Check out details of winter Lumos.
